    We have a really exciting July coming up! Lou Blackwell and the French Set are heading to Meanjin/Brisbane on the weekend of 5/6 July to perform at Le Festival on Southbank.

    Melbourne

    After a sell-out smasher of a gig last July we are returning to play at JAZZLAB in Naarm/Melbourne on Friday 11th July at 8pm. We will deliver a great repertoire to celebrate the Great French Songbook, adding some new numbers and songs from other places to add a bit of colour! 

    I will once again be joined by the amazing musical director and pianist Mark Simeon Ferguson and saxophone/clarinet player Tom Pulford.  We will be swinging with two wonderful friends and musicians now living in Melbourne who will comprise our rhythm section…bass player Dan Witton, from the band Bush Gothic, and jazz drummer Kyrie Anderson, a regular player in the JAZZLAB family. A really GREAT BAND folks!

    Doors open at 7.30 pm and we kick off at 8pm!
