Lou Blackwell and The French Set performed an online gig for Bastille Celebrations on July 14th, 2020 at Domain Theatre, Marion Cultural Centre in South Australia. With Lou Blackwell on vocals, Mark Simeon Ferguson on keys, Julian Ferraretto on violin, John Aué on double bass and Josh Baldwin on drums. A lovely showcase of some great numbers from the French chanson tradition including Paname by Léo Ferré, A bicyclette by Yves Montand, Ma plus belle histoire d’amour by Barbara and Mon manège à moi lyrics by Jean Constantin and music by Norbert Glanzberg.
